MODELLING OF COMPOSITE ELEMENTS OF POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS CONSIDERING NONLINEAR MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS
Journal Title: Journal of Machine Construction and Maintenance - Year 2018, Vol 110, Issue 3
Abstract
Engineering calculations of elements of the power transmission systems made of high-strength carbon-epoxy and carbon-aramid composites are very difficult due to the lack of reliable data concerning non-linear features of these materials. This paper presents a proposal of building and identifying a dynamic model of bi-supported drive shaft. A properly identified mathematical model allowed predicting dynamic behaviours at various velocities of start-up and braking.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE TEST STAND FOR TESTING THE SEAT BACK OF BOAT AND YACHT ARMCHAIRS BASED ON THE ABYC STANDARDS
Polish standards do not specify the research of yacht and boat armchairs that should be carried out before the introduction of a new armchair construction to the sales market. The only available standa...
THE EFFECT OF FUEL OXYGEN CONTENT ON IGNITION DELAY AND COMBUSTION OF A TURBOCHARGED CRDI DIESEL ENGINE
The article presents the effects caused by the variation of fuel-oxygen mass content and widely differing chemical and physical properties of a fossil diesel (DF) and hydrotreated renewable diesel (HRD) fuel blends invol...
THE INFLUENCE OF THE PROTECTIVE PYROLYSIS ATMOSPHERE OF VEGETABLE WASTE ON BIOCARBON CONSTRUCTION
The aim of the study was to investigate the influence of the type of the protective gas used during the pyrolysis of selected plant waste on the chemical structure and microstructure of produced biocarbons. The following...
TUNGSTEN DOPED TiB2 COATINGS OBTAINED BY MAGNETRON SPUTTERING
The aim of the work was to investigate the possibilities of shaping the properties of TiB2 coatings by doping with tungsten, which create hard boron phases (e.g., WB2, WB4, and W2B5). The coatings were produced by a DC m...
PROBLEMS OF THE COMPENSATION OF CENTRIFUGAL FORCE IN LATHE CHUCKS
Modern machining technology facilitates mechanical machining at high spindle speeds, which determines the use of machining lathe chucks that guarantee the correct clamping force of the workpiece. The work...
