MODELLING OF TRANSIENT ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD FOR SINGLE-TURN INDUCTOR SYSTEMS

Abstract

The single-turn inductor system for magneto-pulse forming operation of thin metal blank is con-sidered. The basic characteristic of the dynamic electromagnetic field with the application of the finite element method is obtained. The qualitative and quantitative inductor characteristics that allow to calculate the power interaction between the inductor field and the metal blank field are determined. The numerical results are compared with analytical and experimental ones of other authors.
