Models of life and the criteria of efficiency of life strategies

Abstract
The author considers life strategies as synthesis of inner incentives of an individual with a system of socio-cultural dispositions, being an important precondition of a sensible construction of life by the individual. The author determines that the competence in the problems of construction of life prospect and life strategies acts as a necessary pledge of life success and personal efficiency. Separation of different approaches to typologization of life strategies based on the efficiency criterion is substantiated with the help of their analysis. In so doing a number of life models are distinguished, which are closely connected with existing cultural values and value orientations and set an idea of efficient/inefficient realization of the corresponding life strategies. Under these conditions the efficiency of life strategy may be considered simultaneously in several planes, and characteristic types of strategies may be distinguished in each of them.
