Journal Title: Гастроентерологія - Year 2014, Vol 1, Issue 51

Abstract

The article describes the etiology and current diagnostic methods of investigation of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, in particular non-invasive 13C-mixed triglyceride test, allowing not only to determine indirectly the activity of pancreatic lipase in the duodenum, but also to evaluate the effectiveness of hormone replacement therapy. Comparative clinical study has been carried out, its main objective was clarifying opportunities for application of 13C-triglyceride breath test to optimize the diagnosis and correction of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. The efficacy of oral enzyme replacement therapy using drug Pangrol® 25000 was evaluated.
