Abstract
The paper is devoted to the charity of Princess Natalya Cherkaska (birth surname Katerynych) in the end of the ХІХ century in Katerinoslavschyna-Dnipropetrovschyna. N.I. Cherkaska established a hospital and a school in the village of Lychkove. She was a curator of Pereschepine receiving room, honored guardian of Katerinoslav parochial secondary school for girls. The information about the visits of descendants of a famous scientist I.I. Mechnikov in Lychkove village in Magdalinovskyi district in Dnipropetrovsk region has been provided.
