MODERN DISCOURSE OF THEOLOGY AND THEOLOGY EDUCATION IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the modern discourse of theology and theological education in Ukraine. The determinants that define and shape modern theology and theological education in Ukraine are updated. The purpose of this study is to provide a conceptual overview of current trends in theology and theological education. The objectives of the research are to consistently reveal and highlight the connection between theology and theological education in modern Ukraine, as well as the conceptualization that the concept of theology includes the notion of theological education. Methods used in this study: comparative analysis, historical, inductive and deductive methods. Results. The author presents examples and case studies of modern features of theology and theological education in Ukraine, analyzes trends and threats to theology and theological education in Ukraine. At the same time, the presented perspectives and strengths for the development of theology and theological education in Ukraine. The article presents the author's position and concept, which is the result of theoretical and practical developments in the practical and scientific plane of the development of theology and theological education in Ukraine. The formation of a new paradigm of theology and theological education in Ukraine is undergoing a transformational period. In the context of the changes that began with the adoption of new legislation and the emergence of new opportunities for theology and theological education in Ukraine, new opportunities appear for the system of theological education and theology that can be accumulated only by strong structures oriented towards the future and its prospects.
