Modern Media Enslavemant in Educational Processes
Journal Title: Theory and Practice of Social Systems Management - Year 2017, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
New means of information transfer appearing in the twentieth century via electromagnetic waves has become more attractive compared to the existing and permanent transfer of information in printed form. Reading content is intrinsically more difficult in comparison to listening to similar content (radio) or what is supplemented visually (TV). Increasing the attractiveness of the reception of information has been due to the development of the Internet (in a technical sense) and corresponding devices with applications for interactive participation in cyberspace (first via the personal computer, next by increasing the functionality of the mobile phone). In addition to the obvious advantages of access to information at any time or place, there are negative aspects observed in excessive „emotional attachment” to the created virtual world. Various social networking sites compellingly affect the behavior of the participant, for whom the virtual world has become a priority in relation to the real world, the social one, which is the subject of focus in this paper.
