MODERN PROBLEMS OF ACCOUNTING AND USE OF LAND FOR FORESTRY IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article substantiates the place and special legal regime of the lands of forestry among other categories. On the basis of the analysis of the current legislation, it was established that land should be excluded from the notion of forest from the legal point of view in order to clearly define the legal regulation of these categories. The features of the land allocation in a separate category, namely sprouting on their territory of forest vegetation, forest management, including through restoration of forests, increasing their productivity and the quality of the conservation of biodiversity. The research of the current state of the ecological-economic assessment of forestry lands with the help of such tools as SWOTanalysis has made it possible to identify the weaknesses and strengths, opportunities and threats.
