MODERN UNIVERSITY OVER THE PRIZE OF A NEW PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

Abstract
The radical changes in the system of education, which happen as a response to the challenges of global and local factors in modern society have been researched. The interrelation and interdependence of modern global problems and the crisis of the university education have been analyzed. The roots of the new valuable vision of university education and its role in the formation of an open civil society starts from formulation values and norms as well as meeting the needs of real living conditions, the desire to meet the challenges of time. It is proved that successful overcoming of the crisis is possible only on the basis of a new educational paradigm. It has been established that the university should be the guarantor and mechanism of such social needs as a stable, sustainable development of society
