Modern vectors of consumer co-operation transformation: foreign and domestic experience

Abstract

Annotation. The purpose of the article is to implement a comprehensive analysis and generalization of the experience of transformation and development of consumer cooperation in different countries of the world, adaptation of the positive experience of functioning of the cooperatives of foreign countries and development of the proposals on the modernization of the system of consumer co-operation in Ukraine. Methodology of research. Commonly used in economic science methods were applied in the research process: system-structural, analysis and synthesis, systematization and synthesis, comparative analysis and dialectical approach. Findings. Analyzing the world experience of the cooperative movement, the principles of cooperation and the features of their transformation, the main stages of the development of consumer cooperation in various countries of the world are explored. The main directions of consumer co-operation modernization are studied. Strategic directions of consumer co-operation development in Ukraine were created and grounded. Practical value. The article substantiates that the implementation of the suggested measures will allow to develop and modernize consumer cooperatives operation in Ukraine. The main scientific provisions of the article can be used in practical work on the organization of directions of consumer co-operation development in Ukraine.
