MODERN VIEWS AT AN ISSUE OF MUSIC CULTURE DEVELOPMENT OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PUPILS

Abstract
The article deals with one of the topical issues of musical pedagogy, in particular, musical education that is to the analysis of scientific researches in regards to the development of music culture of elementary school pupils in the process of musical activity. The scientific-pedagogical researches representing various approaches to the definition of the notion "music culture" are analyzed. The paper outlines ways of creating musical culture of younger pupils by means of folk art. It is emphasized that music culture is a significant factor in the development of the spirituality of the individual and an essential element of the harmonic development and the diverse upbringing of pupils.
