Molecular sequence similarity and motif prediction studies on S. Oryzae-outer membrane component of tripartite multidrug resistance system and Tribolium castaneum- translocase of outer membrane using bioinformatics method
Journal Title: International Journal of Novel Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
In bioinformatics, sequence alignment is a way of arranging the sequences of DNA, RNA, or protein in order to identify regions of similarity that may be a consequence of functional, structural or evolutionary relationships between the sequences. In this research we deliver the molecular relationship between the two species. The protein sequences share their amino acids sequence homology high in S. Oryzae - Outer membrane component of tripartite multidrug resistance system and Tribolium castaneum-translocase of outer membrane. We also introduce the novel motif sequences present in the two species. This motif is a potential candidate for future protein modeling and drug docking studies. In our results we prove that both the target proteins are similar, hence we suggest that the same drug can be used for both targets for future insilico docking studies.

Lyophilization/Freeze Drying - An Review
On 21st century, in pharmaceutical field lyophilization has become important subject to ongoing development and its expansion. Lyophilization is common, but cost intensive. In old days process optimization was focused on...
Insilico gene expression and protein structure a comparative study on polycystic ovarian syndrome and ovarian cancer in human beings using bioinformatics
Ovarian cancer is a cancer that begins in an ovary. It results in abnormal cells that have the ability to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a set of symptoms due to a hormon...
Molecular sequence comparison on potential protein targets – lung, liver and prostate cancers using bioinformatics tools
Lung cancer is the most common cancer among men in terms of both incidence and mortality, and among women has the third highest incidence, and is second after breast cancer in mortality. In 2012, there were 1.82 million...
Identification of De Novo peptide and motif prediction on Hypothyroidism protein (FOXE1) using insilico tools
Internationally about one billion people are estimated to be iodine deficient; however, it is unknown how often this results in hypothyroidism. In this present research investigation, we focus on the potential motif sequ...
