MONETARY AND CURRENCY SECURITY IN THE NATIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract
The article reveals the essence of the concepts of "monetary" and "currency" security, clarified their decisive role in the national economy, found real and potential threats monetary and currency security. Based on the analysis of the main components of monetary and currency security during the 2010-2014 years in Ukraine, compared to the maximum allowable values author made a profound findings that the majority of indicators are in critical condition and have all the features of staginflation macroeconomic dynamics. The authors have developed ways of strengthening the basic components of monetary and currency security in the direction of stabilization of the national currency, strengthening of the NBU, setting the acceptable level of the exchange rate in order to overcome the crisis and ensure sustainable socio-economic development.
