MONITORING AND MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF THE RIVER ODRA MOUTH
Journal Title: Biuletyn Instytutu Morskiego - Year 1992, Vol 19, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper to be presented covers the problems of water management, water protection, hydrodynamics and its main parameters in the Odra estuary. We are going to hear about conceptions of utilization and bringing into cultivation /water management/ the rivers and reservoires of our region. Againat this background the undertakings und research capabilities of Maritime Institute Szczecin Branch will be pointed out.Special interest was given to our achievements in mathematical modeling of complex river estuary and to monitoring system successfully implemented in Odra mouth.
