MONITORING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF BUDGET EXPENDITURE ON SOCIAL PROTECTION IN UKRAINE

Abstract
A comprehensive scientific and methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of budget expenditures on social protection and social security of the population is proposed in the article. Monitoring of the effectiveness of budget financing of social assistance in the form of social benefits through the definition of indicators of effectiveness and quality. An estimation of the influence of budget expenditures on social protection of the population on the growth of welfare of citizens in the conditions of the limited financial capacity of the state. The shortcomings of the current practice are identified and directions of their elimination are outlined.
