Motivational personality components diagnostics of future Economy teachers self-educational competence

Abstract

The article reveals the essence and content of motivational-personal structure component for future Economy teachers self-education competence. Based on the analysis of various scientific approaches, it is determined that the Economy teachers self-education competence is an individual’s integrative feature, characterized by stable internal motivation, formation professional-significant personal qualities aimed at continuous process of teachers further development. In the course of research, the feasibility of using psychodiagnostic methods has been substantiated, theassessmentcriteriaandindicators for self-education competencemotivational- personal component formation including students’ motives and individual’s needs for self- education, self-improvement, as well as the self-efficacy are determined and assessed. It was  established that formation the motivational-personal component of the indicated competence is characterized and evaluated by certain levels of its development, identified on the basis of qualitative and quantitative characteristics and intensity interpretation to express its indicators. The empirical research methodology conducted at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman is represented. According to experiment results the motives for professional self-development (37.5% of persons), motives for personal development (36.3% of persons), cognitive motives (24.5% of people) were defined for self-education activities among respondents of the general sample. High and average indicators expression levels of self-education competence motivational-personal component were revealed by respondents: the need for a personality’s self-perfection – in 64.3%, the professional orientation level – in 46.9%; motivation to achieving success in self-education activity – in 51.3%; a personality’s self-efficacy – in 54,3%...
