Journal Title: Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal - Year 2025, Vol 32, Issue 6

Abstract

This study availed particularly the Comparison Research with multiple series design. Two groups were used in the study. One group was the experimental and the other was the control group. The selection as to what group the subjects belong was through drawing of lots. The experimental group consisting of 30 learners was taught daily using the Multimedia Instruction as Strategy. An initial test was conducted before the experiment. The test was adopted and modified from the K-12 Grade 10 Mathematics teacher’s guide with table of specification. The control group consisted of 30 learners were taught using the lecture method. The Post Hoc Analysis showed that (i) there is a significant difference between Test 1 and Test 2, (ii) there is a significant difference between Test1 and Test 3, and also (iii) there is a significant difference between Test 2 and Test 3 of the experimental group. This implies that there is always an increase of test scores in every pair and that teaching with the use of multimedia is effective. The result of the Factorial Analysis showed that there is a significant difference in the test scores of the control group and experimental group (Sample A).
