MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES IN THE TEACHING OF DISCIPLINES

Abstract
Introduction. In the modern world, computer technology has become an integral part of not only everyday life, but also of educational process as a whole. Students perceive computer technology with much more interest and positivity than conventional textbooks and manuals. Actuality of heuse of multimediat echnologies in the educational process of the modern stage becomes clear when maintaining the quality of the educational process. Methods. Methods of system analysis of the oretical sources, general scientific methods, as well as the results of the author's research during the seventeen years of scientific and pedagogical activity used in the work. Results. The article substantiates and describes the actual issues of the introduction of information and communication technologies in the process of preparing students with the use of fundamentally new technical means of training, as well as the use of multimedia in the educational process. Perspectives. Experience shows that the use of multimedia technologies in teaching has made it possible to find new approaches to the development of educational materials.This gives us the opportunity to evaluate and implement innovative learning technologies that give students motivation to study disciplines, improve the quality of learning, develop cognitive activity of the student, his independence in the study, search, selection and processing of information.
