MUNICIPAL POLICE IN SELECTED COUNTRIES OF CENTRAL EUROPE AND MUTUAL COMPARISON OF THEIR ACTIVITIES

Journal Title: Securitologia - Year 2013, Vol 17, Issue 1

Abstract

This paper describes the current state of municipal police operations in the Czech Republic and Poland. This condition is evaluated using the regularization of the municipal police force in these countries and statistical indicators. These consist of demographic data, the number of police officers and offenses detected in the country and the amount of funds raised from the spot fines between 2010 and 2011. The identified parameters are compared between the countries and the current situation in the Slovak Republic and shown in tables and graphs.
