Mutaţii structurale ale forţei de muncă din România, după 1990

Abstract
Piaţa muncii reprezintă o componentă importantă pentru întregul sistem economic şi pentru dezvoltarea social-economică. Totodată, piaţa muncii este cunoscută ca cea mai infl exibilă dintre pieţe, datorită existenţei fenomenului de mobilitate permanentă a forţei de muncă. După 1990, societatea românească a cunoscut o serie de transformări economice şi sociale, noile reforme cuprinzând toate domeniile de activitate. Simultan, procesul tranziţiei s-a confruntat cu mari dificultăţi, reclamând costuri sociale ridicate, în condiţii de inflaţie, şomaj, polarizarea veniturilor, reducerea puterii de cumpărare etc.. Apreciem că una dintre direcţiile în care este necesar să se concentreze eforturile de redresare priveşte piaţa forţei de muncă, eficientizarea acesteia, optimizarea calităţii resurselor umane, perfecţionarea educaţiei şi a pregătirii profesionale, reducerea sărăciei şi şomajului, îmbunătăţirea stării de sănătate a populaţiei. Problemele forţei de muncă sunt de mai mulţi ani nerezolvate, potenţialul uman reprezintă un factor de prim ordin în peisajul dezvoltării economice şi sociale al ţării şi la nivel teritorial.
