Muzykoterapia w pracy z osobami upośledzonymi umysłowo w stopniu umiarkowanym

Abstract
Music therapy is becoming more and more widely used method while working with people with learning disability. This is due to following music properties: it is an effective tool in establishing non-verbal communication, moreover, it pro-vides pleasure and is the most common form of enter-tainment amongst people with mental retardation. In the article the author examines the special role mu-sic therapy plays in working with people with learning disabilities, presents mu-sic therapy methods and gives examples of people (music therapists) who, in their own way, implement music therapy techniques.
