Nature of God, World and Human Body as Seen in Tirumular’s Tirumandiram

Abstract

Tirumandiram is considered to be a seminal Saiva Siddhanta work by Tirumular. It speaks of God (Siva), His nature, His attributes and His relationship with the World and Human Beings. It speaks of the thread of unity that binds God, Nature and Human Beings together. The aim of this research paper is to probe into the mystical and speculative thoughts pertaining to Divine self as manifested in the visible world and how it is related to human self.
