Abstract
The article is about the unique monument of the Hungarian history writing of the 14th century so-called Illuminated Chronicle which is the important source of the Anjou dynasty ruling in the Hungarian Kingdom. The article reveals the discussing aspects in the research of Illuminated Chronicle especially the question about its formation and its authorship. The most probable theories, traditional and completely new points of views on this question are making in this regard.
