Abstract
The priority direction of the system of higher medical education modernization is an increase in the quality of the professional training of medical staff. The concept of the development of higher medical education in Ukraine is aimed at forming the professional psychological competence of future specialists. In modern conditions, particularly relevant in the field of higher medical education becomes a competent approach, which is aimed at the transition from theoretical knowledge to obtaining practical experience and professional competence. Today the problem of the formation of psychological competence of a future specialist is new in the field of psychological research. However, in our deep conviction, it is advisable to figure out how to solve this problem in practice, at higher medical education. The urgency of the problem of students-physicians’ psychological competence formation during acquiring higher professional education is due to the need to identify psychological and pedagogical conditions of development of the individual sphere. This will allow, on the one hand, students, doctors to meet the need for high level of development of psychological competence, and on the other the need of the society in qualified specialists in the field of medicine. The psychological competence of students should be formed during training. It should also be noted that it is impossible to expand the scope of theoretical and practical programs of professional training, and the formation of psychological competence of future doctors is not the only task of the educational process. It is necessary to find this approach to build a program that will ensure the development of personality of a specialist, particularly the formation of psychological competence throughout the learning process in higher medical educational establishment.
