A Novel Computing Paradigm for Data Protection in Cloud Computing
Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2013, Vol 3, Issue 4
Abstract
Cloud computing is the term given to the use of several server computers via a digital network as if they were one computer. The ‘Cloud’ itself is a virtualization of various resources such as networks, servers, applications, data storage and services – which the end user has on-demand access to. Cloud computing services are divided into three types, according to the abstraction level of the capability provided and the service model of providers, namely: Infrastructure as a service(IaaS), Platform as a service(PaaS) and Software as a service(SaaS). This paper proposes a novel cloud computing paradigm, data protection as a service (DPaaS). DPaaS is a suite of security primitives offered by a cloud computing platform, which enforces data security and privacy and offers evidence of privacy to data owners, even in the presence of potentially compromised or malicious applications.

Time Dependent Quadratic Demand Inventory Models when Delay in Payments is Acceptable
An EOQ model is constructed for deteriorating items with time dependent quadratic demand rate. It is assumed that the deterioration rate is constant and the supplier offers his retailer the credit period to set...
Tensile and Impact Properties of Natural Fiber Hybrid Composite Materials
This paper is a review on the tensile and impact properties of natural fiber hybrid composites. Natural fibers are having good mechanical properties, high specific strength, low cost, bio-degradable and easily can recycl...
Analysis and Improved Operation of PEBB Based 5-Level Voltage Source Converter for Facts Applications
The paper presents the power-electronic devices are increasing in several applications, and power-electronic building blocks (PEBBs) are a strategic concept to increase the reliability of the power-electronic c...
A Combined Model of Bayesian Network and Spatial Markov Kernel for Multiclass Image Segmentation and Categorization
Abstract: We propose a new Bayesian Network model that segments the region of interest from the image and categorize the segmented image. A Bayesian Network is constructed from an over segmentation to mode...
Spray characterization of nozzle for fire extinguisher
Abstract: The development of water mist fire suppression technology has made substantial progress over the last decade. Water mist based techniques are becoming popular but the fire extinguishment products call for...
