A PSO Optimized Layered Approach for Parametric Clustering on Weather Dataset
Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2013, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
Abstract: Clustering is the process to present the data in an effective and organized way. There are number of existing clustering approaches but most of them suffer with problem of data distribution. If the distribution is non linear it gives impurities in clustering process. The propose work is about to improve the accuracy of such clustering algorithm. Here we are presenting the work on time series oriented database to present the work. Here we are presenting the three layer architecture, where first layer perform the partitioning based on time series and second layer will perform the basic clustering. The PSO is finally implemented to remove the impurities from the dataset.

Effect of Injection Pressure on Ignition Delay and Combustion Duration of Diesel Engine with Biodiesel (Jatropha Oil) and Its Blends
This paper discusses the combustion characteristics of jatropha methyl ester (further biodiesel) in direct injection diesel engine with injection pressure range from 100 bar to 300 bar and variation of ambient air pressu...
Experimental Study of the Parameters Affecting the Tribological Performance of Nano Lubricant Containing Multi-Walled Carbon Nano-tubes (MWCNT) using Design of Experiments (DOE)
The Multi-Walled Carbon Nano-Tubes (MWCNT) are gaining wide acceptability as an anti-wear lubricant additive because of their extraordinary tribological properties. However, full antiwear potential of the MWCNT...
Optimization of Multi Leaf Spring by using Design of Experiments & Simulated Annealing Algorithm
This work carried out on a multi leaf spring of a tractor trolley with maximum load carrying capacity of 5 Tones. The CAD model of this MLS has been modeled in CATIA V5. After successfully preparing the CAD mod...
Implementation of FSM Based Automatic Dispense Machine with Expiry Date Feature Using VHDL
