An Efficient Illumination Normalization Method with Fuzzy LDA Feature Extractor for Face Recognition
Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2012, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
Nearest Neighbour classifier , Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Feedforward Neural Network(FFNN).The experiments were performed on the ORL (Olivetti Research Laboratory) and Yale face image databases and the results show the present method with SVM classifier outweighs other techniques applied on the same database and reported in literature.

A High Performance PWM Voltage Source Inverter Used for VAR Compensation and Utility Grid Stability Improvement
A high performance advanced static VAR compensator (ASVC) which uses a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) voltage source inverter is presented and analyzed in this paper. A fast control approach of the ASVC system has...
Conditioning Monitoring of Gearbox Using Different Methods: A Review
Gears are important element in a variety of industrial applications such as machine tool and gearboxes. An unexpected failure of the gear may cause significant economic losses. For that reason, fault diagnosis...
Spectroscopic and Thermal Characterization of Charge-TransferComplexes Formed In the Reaction of 2-Amino-6-Ethylpyridine with Π-Electron Acceptors
The spectrophotometric characteristics of the solid charge-transfer molecular complexes (CT) formed in the reaction of the electron donor 2-amino-6-ethylpyridine (2A6EPy) with the π- acceptors tetracyanoethylen...
Structural Analysis of Ladder Chassis Frame for Jeep Using Ansys
Automotive chassis frame is an important part of an automobile. The automotive chassis frame is the structural backbone of any vehicle. The main function of chassis frame is to support the body, different parts of an...
Influence of curing regime on strength development of grade C60 concrete
Abstract: Compressive strength of grade C60 concrete cubes cured in water and ambient air (uncured) were determined at 3, 7, 14, 28 and 90days. At 90 days, uncured specimens recorded strength reduction of 15.50%...
