An Overview of Distributed Generation
Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 6
Abstract
The Power Generated in Karnataka(INDIA) is 7445.91MW and Demand is 8500MWwhich causes the problem of Load shedding, many states face this problem and are forced to buy the power from other states which leads to the extra economical burden, this is where the Distributed Generation (DG) plays a role to cut down the costs of the power purchased. This paper discusses the various aspects of DG Opportunities, conversion system, technology interconnections and environmental performance. Alsosome of the challenges DG system is confronting, an overview of connection between DG system and Microgrid, the feature aspects of DG and benefits of DG system are also brought out.

Performance and Analysis of Video Compression Using Block Based Singular Value Decomposition Algorithm
Abstract: This paper presents analysis of video compression based on block SVD Algorithm. Video compression is a process of efficiently coding digital video to reduce the number of bits required in representing vid...
Experimental Investigations of Exhaust Emissions of four Stroke SI Engine by using direct injection of LPG and its analysis
Gaseous fuels such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) have been widely used in commercial vehicles. In this project the main aim is to evaluate the exhaust emission by running the conv...
On some locally closed sets and spaces in Ideal Topological Spaces
In this paper we introduce and characterize some new generalized locally closed sets known as δ ˆ s-locally closed sets and spaces are known as δ ˆ s-normal space and δ ˆ s-connected space and discussed...
Classification Rule Discovery Using Ant-Miner Algorithm: An Application Of Network Intrusion Detection
Enormous studies on intrusion detection have widely applied data mining techniques to finding out the useful knowledge automatically from large amount of databases, while few studies have proposed classification da...
Modal Analysis of Fibre Reinforced Composite Beams with a Transverse Crack Using ANSYS
In many structures like high speed machineries, aircrafts and light weight structures composite beams and beam like structures are main constituent elements. Cracks induced in these structural elements cause se...
