An Overview on Vibration Analysis Techniques for the Diagnosis of Rolling Element Bearing Faults
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 5
Abstract
Rolling element bearings comes under the critical category in many rotating machineries, mainly in chemical industry, aviation, nuclear power stations etc. Vibration monitoring and analysis is useful tool in the field of predictive maintenance. Health of rolling element bearings can be easily identified using vibration monitoring because vibration signature reveals important information about the fault development within them. Numbers of vibration analysis techniques are being used to diagnosis of rolling element bearings faults. This paper attempts to summarize the recent research and developments in rolling bearing vibration analysis techniques. Bearing defects and bearing characteristic frequencies (BCF) are also discussed

Software Defined Radio Theoretical Analysis and Design Approach
Now a days radio has become a common thing for every individual in the world. There has been many developments in radio after its invention in 1895 by Marconi. Particularly the concepts like cognitive radio and...
Low Mobility Based Geographic Routing Strategy
In geographic routing, nodes need to maintain up-to-date positions of their immediate neighbours for making effective forwarding decisions. Periodic broadcasting of beacon packets regardless of the node mobility and traf...
An Improved Performance of Sensorless PMSM Drive Control with Sliding Mode Observer in Low Speed Operation
The aim of these paper is to realize a sensorless vector control scheme for a non-salient pole PMSM using a state observer of kind “Sliding Mode” for rotor flux position and speed estimation. The proposed scheme of...
