Analysis of time-dependent reliability of degenerated reinforced concrete structure
Journal Title: Frattura ed Integrità Strutturale - Year 2016, Vol 10, Issue 37
Abstract
Durability deterioration of structure is a highly random process. The maintenance of degenerated structure involves the calculation of the reliability of time-dependent structure. This study introduced reinforced concrete structure resistance decrease model and related statistical parameters of uncertainty, analyzed resistance decrease rules of corroded bending element of reinforced concrete structure, and finally calculated timedependent reliability of the corroded bending element of reinforced concrete structure, aiming to provide a specific theoretical basis for the application of time-dependent reliability theory.

Microstructural characterisation related to hot tearing of Al-Cu sand mould castings
In this paper, the hot tearing behaviour in Al-(4.86)%Cu sand mould castings was preliminary investigated by means of microstructural examination and image analysis. A dog-bone pattern was employed for the realisation o...
Fretting in complete contacts - the use of Williams’ solution
Williams’ solution may be used to characterize the corners of ‘complete’ fretting contacts. Here we look at the practicalities of conducting fretting tests using a range of different kinds of apparatus and the kin...
Plastic flow equations for the local strain approach in the multiaxial case
This paper presents a system of plastic flow equations which uses and generalizes to the multiaxial case a number of concepts commonly employed in the so-called Local Strain Approach to low cycle fatigue. Eve...
Quality Control system for a hot-rolled metal surface
The modern ideas about of quality of products are based on the principle of the absolute satisfaction of requirements of recommendations of the buyer. A presence of surface defects of steel-smelting and rolli...
Electro-mechanical coupled design of self-powered sensing systems and performances comparison through experiments
Recent advances in low-power sensors and electronic components open to innovative strategies in structural monitoring and real-time data processing, in particular for industrial and vehicular fields. Dedicated devi...
