Analysis of time-dependent reliability of degenerated reinforced concrete structure
Journal Title: Frattura ed Integrità Strutturale - Year 2016, Vol 10, Issue 37
Abstract
Durability deterioration of structure is a highly random process. The maintenance of degenerated structure involves the calculation of the reliability of time-dependent structure. This study introduced reinforced concrete structure resistance decrease model and related statistical parameters of uncertainty, analyzed resistance decrease rules of corroded bending element of reinforced concrete structure, and finally calculated timedependent reliability of the corroded bending element of reinforced concrete structure, aiming to provide a specific theoretical basis for the application of time-dependent reliability theory.

Fatigue crack growth prediction in 2xxx AA with friction stir weld HAZ properties
An analytical model is developed to predict fatigue crack propagation rate under mode I loading in 2024 aluminum alloy with FSW HAZ material characteristics. Simulation of the HAZ local properties in parent 2...
Effect of weld parameter on mechanical and metallurgical properties of dissimilar joints AA6082–AA6061 in T6 condition produced by FSW
The effect of processing parameters on the mechanical and metallurgical properties of dissimilar joints of AA6082–AA6061 produced by friction stir welding was analysed in this study. Different FSW samples were prod...
Static and fatigue experimental tests on a full scale fuselage panel and FEM analyses
A fatigue test on a full scale panel with complex loading condition and geometry configuration has been carried out using a triaxial test machine. The demonstrator is made up of two skins which are linked by a&nbs...
Fracture Mechanics: Inspirations from Nature
In Nature there are many examples of materials performing structural functions. Nature requires materials which are stiff and strong to provide support against various forces, including self-weight, the dynamic f...
