Analysis of time-dependent reliability of degenerated reinforced concrete structure
Journal Title: Frattura ed Integrità Strutturale - Year 2016, Vol 10, Issue 37
Abstract
Durability deterioration of structure is a highly random process. The maintenance of degenerated structure involves the calculation of the reliability of time-dependent structure. This study introduced reinforced concrete structure resistance decrease model and related statistical parameters of uncertainty, analyzed resistance decrease rules of corroded bending element of reinforced concrete structure, and finally calculated timedependent reliability of the corroded bending element of reinforced concrete structure, aiming to provide a specific theoretical basis for the application of time-dependent reliability theory.

Structural durability assessment of welded offshore K-nodes by different local design concepts
The structural durability design of complex welded structures should not rely only on one single design method but should apply different methods for assuring the reliability of the assessment. In this context the applic...
Weight Function Method for computations of crack face displacements and stress intensity factors of center cracks
The weight function method provides a powerful and reliable tool for the determination of the stress intensity factor around the crack tip in a linearly elastic cracked solid subjected to arbitrary loading condit...
Multiple crack propagation by DBEM in a riveted butt-joint: a simplified bidimensional approach
A Multi-Site Damage (MSD) crack growth simulation is presented, carried out by means of Dual Boundary Element Method (DBEM), in a two-dimensional analysis of a cracked butt-joint made of aluminium 2024 T3. An equ...
Study of drilling muds on the anti-erosion property of a fluidic amplifier in directional drilling
Due to some drawbacks of conventional drilling methods and drilling tools, the application of hydraulic hammers with a fluidic amplifier have been extensively popularized since its emergence in recent years....
Indentation response of a NiTi shape memory alloy: modeling and experiments
The indentation response of a pseudoelastic nickel-titanium based shape memory alloy (SMA) has been analyzed. Indentation tests have been carried out at room temperature using a spherical diamond tip and indentatio...
