Abstract

Big data is defined as the oil of knowledge economy, especially in the beginning of a transformation in the social sciences that opinion, has become a recurring rhetoric often last 10 years. This turn is also associated with the increase in our technological capabilities, but here is important, the data is how we will use is taking place in our way of thinking said. By data-driven computational thinking, humanities, began to recover from the pressure of physicalism which supported by science. Humanities, in the last two centuries is to prove they are “science” developed historicism, hermeneutics, and phenomenology have a new methodological opinions with epistemological quest. Nevertheless, until the beginning of the era of big data using computational methods of thinking in the dominance of a naturalist "scientific community" is difficult to say by what they accepted. To be a science, the gift given by the big data to the humanities which are considered fundamental characteristic of being "formulative", in this way has the ability to predict events. So big data, only a technical approach with Google experts, statisticians, and economists not, should be reconsidered in order to understand the new type of general humanities with a philosophical approach.
