Catering approach towards dividend policy in the Polish capital market

Abstract
In paper we discuss the problem of catering theory of dividends. There are presented results of introductory research on applying that theory for explaining dividend policy of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The research has been focused on the relation between stock price premium for dividend and a number of companies paying dividends or initiating payment.
