Abstract
The main purpose of this work is an attempt to present the relationship between banking and other disciplines : mathematics, sociology and psychology. Banking and mathematics are closely connected :banking requires constant use of mathematics. Mathematical precision, accuracy and mathematic skills are essential in banking. The understanding the motives of bankers and clients in the banking business requires the knowledge of sociology and psychology. One of the most exiting new fields of neuroscience is neurobanking, defined as a study and application of neuroscience to banking activity. The emotions have the crucial role in short therm banking and financial decisions.
