Insolvency of Polish enterprises in the years 2009-2012

Abstract
Insolvency of companies can be considered from a legal and economic perspective. From a legal standpoint, it indicates the elimination of the enterprise from the market, whereas in economic terms it means the lack of payment of the liabilities of the company. Causes of bankruptcy can be divided into internal (dependent on the company) and external (dependent on the environment). Each insolvency proceedings of a debtor is a complex process because it requires the involvement of a large number of stakeholders. Usually, stakeholders have different expectations, which often leads to conflicts. The analysis of corporate bankruptcies in Poland within the last few years showed that since 2010 the number of such situations is constantly growing.
