DENUDATION PROCESSES IN THE ARGEŞ SUBCARPATHIANS

Abstract

Investigations carried out in the small catchments of the Argeş Subcarpathian Hills have shown very high erosion values in the conditions of a facies consisting largely of marl-clay with sand intercalations and slope declivity over 25.0%. Gravitation processes unleashing deep slides and mudflows, enhance denudation on the slopes of torrential basins.
