GINGIVAL RESSECION. ETIOLOGY AND CLASSIFICATION

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of gingival recession and etiological factors taking into account: patient age group of teeth, correct treatment, therapeutic, orthopedic, periodontal and orthodontic. The study is based on analysis of the literature and a specialized group of 67 patients aged between 14 and 50 years. According to the data of literature, gingival recession varies from 9.7% to children up to 15 years and to 99.3% in adults. Based on this study it was observed that most often are localized gingival recessions on buccal surfaces of anterior teeth and premolars and rare on the vestibular surfaces of molars
