LARYNGEAL TUBERCULOSIS MIMICKING CARCINOMA: A CASE SERIES

Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is highly contagious disease, so a prompt clinical diagnosis and high level of clinical suspicion is necessary. Laryngeal Tuberculosis has uncommon presentation due to absent systemic symptoms with prevalent sign and symptoms of carcinoma like hoarseness of voice, dysphagia, dysphonia. The varied nature of laryngeal tuberculosis is demonstrated in two cases presented to our hospital. This case series highlights the importance of considering tuberculosis in differential of laryngeal pathology
