LE RAPPORT RELIEF- ACTIVITES TOURISTIQUES SUR LE TERRITOIRE DE LA ROUMANIE
Journal Title: The Annals of Valahia University of Târgoviste, Geographical Series - Year 2006, Vol 6, Issue 1
Abstract
The relief represents the support of the touristic activities due to the variety of forms which make it up. The relief must be regarded from a double perspective: both as a favourableness and as a restrictiveness factor for the touristic activities. The attractiveness is related to: the main peaks and summits, the quays and gorges, the karstic forms of relief, the glacial forms of relief, the volcanic forms of relief, the forms created by the wind, the forms along the Black Sea shore. The restrictiveness of developing some touristic points is determined by more factors, among which the important ones are those directly related to relief characteristics (cliffs and chines, large bankfalls, crests along some valleys, the presence of some landfalls and landslides).
