Preventing Web-Proxy Based DDoS using Request SequenceFrequency

Abstract
Abstract: In order to control the request flow in Computer Networks, a proxy server is used. Proxy Server is aserver which acts as an intermediary server between server and clients. The more adaptable and convertedattack is Web proxy-based HTTP attack in the existing DDoS attacks. In most of the large-scale official proxieswhich are usually configured to have high security sometimes cannot avoid being abused for the proxy baseattacks. This type of attacks introduces new challenges to the existing security systems of the network. Webapplication is a set of technologies which serves for the web service. It is a good security practice to implementadditional precautions to every mitigation level including the web application level for bringing the HTTP floodattack awareness for the web application. Here we introduce the detection and prevention of these flood attacksand DDoS attacks by using their frequency of request sequence arrival
