PRIMARY IMPORTANCE OF STABILITY IN THE SUCCESSOF LOADING IMEDIATE DENTAL IMPLANTS
Journal Title: Journal MEDICINA STOMATOLOGIĂ - Year 2013, Vol 71, Issue 4
Abstract
Primary stability is defined as the stability of dental implants immediately after their insertion and lack of mobility in the bone bed, which is a crucial factor determining long-term success of dental implants. Protocols load implants immediately suggests that the level of primary stability depends on many factors, including bone density, shape of the implant, design, their surface characteristics, as well as surgical technique.
