Relational capital of banks – an attempt of conceptualization

Abstract
The paper is devoted to the issue of relational capital of a bank. The definition of this category - being one of the elements of intellectual capital system - is presented, and then its essence is discussed. The next part of the paper discusses the model of relational capital formation. The empirical part of the paper presents the results of the survey indicating the stakeholders identified by Polish banks as an important group having impact on their business. Additionally, the results of the survey, indicating the perceived importance of relational capital in the banking business are quoted.
