Socio-Psychological Causes and Impacts of Hashish Abuse Among Youth (A Case Study of “Ziarat” Talash District Dir Lower)

Abstract
Hashish abuse is one of the greatest social problems. It has destroyed and destroying individuals everywhere in the world. Governmental and non-governmental agencies are striving hard to prevent the drug addiction. The roots of hashish abuse are pedaling day by day. The basic reason of hashish abuse is tension, depression and keeping in company of addicts i.e. peer pressure. Majority of the respondents were not in the favor of hashish abuse, because it has many adverse effects on youths as well on other members of the family and society. Hashish abuse creates many social and psychological problems like tension, depression, inferiority complex and provides a gateway to major drugs addiction which leads to crimes and other serious problems. This study basically aims at discovering the causes which leads to hashish abuse and its impacts on young members of our community.
