SOME EMERGENCY ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIONS IN PRACTICAL ENDODONTICS

Abstract
One of the greatest advances in modern stomatology was reached in endodontics, which present the pain like basic symptom. A proper organization of dental emergencies in the dental pulp and periapical tissue diseases will obligatory include a number of actions. The diagnosis which will establish the general and stomatological anamnesis, the clinical evolution and the temporal manifestations, the pain intensity, the physical and clinical investigations (palpation, percussion, diagnostic tests: temperature, heating, cooling, electrometric) will be compulsory. The only possible symptom in maxillofacial region may be the swelling. Endodontics emergency treatment will follow three rules: 1. Treatment will be performed only after confirming the diagnosis. 2. Better not to treat than to treat incorrectly. 3. In case of diagnostic doubt, the consultation of other stomatologists will be mandatory. In case of endodontic emergency the main treatment procedure will be the symptomatic one.
