Abstract
The article is devoted to the diversity of views and approaches of different authors to the definition of concepts “conflict” and “conflict resolution” in the field of criminal procedure relations. In numerous scientific publications known scientists put forward a variety of proposals and approaches related to the conflict resolution in criminal procedure. However, no one of the proposed theories was currently recognized. The lack of clear definitions of “conflict” and “conflict resolution” can lead to misunderstandings. This will negatively affect to the development and improvement of methods of resolving. There is a need to clarify the concepts “conflict” and “conflict resolution” in a criminal procedure. The author’s position in the definition of these concepts is proposed. This analysis is carried out for purposes of scientific research, devoted to alternative conflict resolution in the criminal procedure.
