Abstract
In this study Neşâtî Ahmed Dede’s,who is one of the 17th century poets, terkîb-bend is analyzed which is called “Mersiyye Lî Hazret-i Imâm Huseyn”. Elegy’s theme is Hz. Huseyn’s martyrize in Kerbela in 10th Muharrem 61 (10th October, 680). Hz.Huseyn is a member of “Hamse-i Âl-i Abâ”(Hz.Muhammed, Hz.Ali, Hz.Fâtıma, Hz.Hasan, Hz.Huseyin) and one of the twelve imams of the ‘‘Ehl-i Beyt’’. The people who worked as spiritual guide in the Islamic world for years generally come from this succession
