NEW CITY REGIONALISM AS A MODERN PARADIGM OF REGIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract
The article analyzed the theoretical aspects of the formation of a new city regionalism. The essence and dimensions of local economic development are revealed. The types of connections between city-regions and global cities that lead to the globalization of economic relations are considered. The features of formation of globalized cities as drivers of national and international competitiveness are analyzed. The directions of development of new regionalism are determined.
