New English Military Set-Expressions

Abstract
This article deals with new military phraseology in English with lingual and sociolingual analysis. Military phraseological innovations have been classified by semantic and structural parameters. The mechanisms of formation are metaphor, metonymy, euphemism. Analogy should be considered as a universal mechanism. The main factors of development of military vocabulary are military conflicts, development of military science and technology, new military strategies and tactics. Modern technology has played an essential role in enriching English vocabulary of set-expressions.
