Journal Title: Baltic Journal of Coleopterology - Year 2014, Vol 14, Issue 1
Abstract
The false darkling beetles Serropalpus ryzhkovianus sp. nov., S. vivax sp. nov., S. ingemmescus sp. nov., Abdera hoffeinsorum sp. nov., A. rikojotensis sp. nov. and Electroabdera marisbaltici gen. nov., sp. nov. are described from Baltic amber. The new melandryid taxa are compared with the morphologically close extant and fossil ones. Pseudohallomenus cretaceus Nikitsky 1977 described in Melandryidae has been transferred into the family Tetratomidae Billberg, 1820. The check-list of all described Melandryidae species from Cretaceous and Tertiary is given.
