New Transformatİon of Postmodern Paradigms in Art Education

Abstract
Aims of art education to move the society forward and forming creativity, originality, innovation and esthetic values have experienced a transformation starting from 1970s in general and heavily in the recent years. In this process so called “Postmodern”, structural changes in general education covered art education as well. On the other hand, postmodern approach and applications oriented the circulation and consumption of cultural products to commercial areas wherever profit margins are high by removing them from autonomous and intellectual areas of art. This article aims to attract attentions to the problematic of structural effects on art education by trendless neoliberal politics that applied in the last three decades.
