Niger-Congolese macrofamily and the Arabic

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of genetic relationships of African languages. According to J. Greenberg’s classification on the African continent, there are four macrofamilies: Afrasian, Nilo-Saharan, Niger-Congolese and Khoisan. The author of the article proposes a new division of African languages on the basis of their typological links to the Arabic.
